@timmygears102 I chriped 5th in the car one time....it was a little fanagling to do, but I could decently get an honest 4th gear chirp from time to time. The car was a beast. The mph it pulled at the track was like 103-105 last I remember.

he's right. You'r not supposed to keep ur hand on the shifter ( although i still do it)... while doing that you'r applying pressure to gears somewhat, but more to the shifting forks, wearing them out. And after forks wear more and more, you wont be able to go in the gear all the way. ( not gonna be fully engaged ).

In reality if your hand is on the stick its actually applying pressure on the gears which isnt good. As well I have proper driving skills...both hands on the wheel. Allthough I wasnt doing it since the shifts were coming so quickly.

Yeah if you pull around or push youll feel a slight vibration. I cant really proove its bad but it how you change gears and you can also pull the gear out with the clutch engaged as well any racer will tell you both hands on the wheel. As well dont let your hands cross over each other.

But yeah my hand coming off the shifter a bunch was kinda weird. I guess you sometimes dont realize it , but yah it doesnt look right im sure I could do better or hold it for the whole run. Its just better to have both hands ready for the wheel in case something comes out.

lol your right. The beggining I was messing around. Afterwards Im not sure if that influenced the hand movements. The other part was I just installed the short shift in the car so the shifter came loose once or twice.

The car has pretty much every bolt on you can buy. So , dont feel bad if yours cant. I can and have chirped 5th also just chirped 4th finally again the other day.

I also have a performance act clutch which helps it grab harder.

The Prelude dash isnt wierd man, its like sitting in a cockpit, I used to have one till the H23 gave way. Great back road carver though.

The first of the video was meant to shift early. Because the car when cold wont allow rpms above 5k , aka high cam vtec. So I was just shifting quick for fun. The 2nd part the car was warm enough and I took it pretty hard.
