  • Can't stop playing it again, again and again!

  • świetne:)

  • Yes. Caravan Palace. Lyre le temps. La Rochelle. Parov Stelar. Swing Republic. Electric Swing Circus. Just to name a few artists.

  • where can i find more good electro swing?

anybody know a few good songs of this marvellous genre?

  • @chorthithian Parov Stelar - Catgroove

  • @chorthithian - Look to your right... Gabin; Doo Uap, Jamko - youtube search Electro Swing. ;)

  • I think GM used this for one of their car commercials going back around 7 or 8 years ago. Cool song, even when you're not high.

  • @cagepondroad

yeah, i remember this song directly from those commercials

  • 1:06 on is good :D

  • I love the use of samples from The Viking of New York. Epic and rare.

  • @yutirew Derpette?

  • derp

  • i could be in this song forever, but sadly i have carrots to peel.

  • that taco made me think of the floating hotdog from perfect hair forever

  • The vocals are sampled from "Hypin' Woman Blues" by T-Bone Walker.

  • this song is older than Parov Stelar :D

  • Guess where that first sample is from?

  • @ZIM0O9 why would you even do such a thing to this work of art??

  • Why isn't the rest of Mr Scruff like this song. Honestly everything else I've heard by Mr. Scruff blows compared to this!

  • @DownstairsTunes So true man.

  • this is a 1999 track, out of the 'keep it unreal' album!!!!!

  • Toonami flashbacks on my mind

  • Hmm... it seems electroswing really only works for me if it is fast...

  • now me and my grandparents have something in common :)

  • wow I'm so high righ-

    No one fucking cares.

  • @csgex Fuck you, weed is the shit.

  • (V)(;,,;)(V) need a new genre? Why not electro-swing?

  • Come on folks, this is a Moondog (Louis Thomas Hardin) composition from the 60s using a 5/4 time signature. See "Take Five" by Dave Brubeck as well.

  • woo djwheat!

  • This is actually... Amazing...

  • Original: Moondog - Bird's Lament

  • I LUBB IT!

  • SWING!! What a Track! )))))))))))))))

  • love the cartoon

  • You better keep moving!

  • L.O.V.E. it !! =^.^=

  • J'aime beaucoup! C'est si bon!

  • brilliantly hypnotic movie, yeaaah

  • this is awesome, and i hate electro (probably gonna get a lot of hate for this :| ...)

  • This song makes me wanna run and smoke weed at the same time

  • Electro swing. Brilliant :)

  • youtube.com/watch?v=r0Ytgvhh5QE

    good one too

  • I agree with pozharski. This song could have used more sampled voices, more editing of the original and possibly a tempo change. Too much like the original.

  • this sounds like parov stelar

  • @VViitard off course it does. It's Electro swing!

  • @VViitard The other way around, actually ;)

  • @VViitard I mean, they're the same genre

  • @VViitard I believe this pre-dates stelar by quite some time... but yes similar feel and both great artists.

  • @VViitard That's because Parov Stelar and Mr Scruff both produces electro swing.

  • @VViitard: You mean “Parov Stelar sounds like this.”! As this came out before Parov Stelar was known at all. It’s also on a old Café del Mar I think.

  • @VViitard

Everything Electric Swing sounds like Parov Stellar.

  • @VViitard parov stelar sounds like this ;)

  • @VViitard Mr Scruff is way earlier than Parov - so it must be the other way around ;)

  • @VViitard He didn't invent electro swing you know.

  • it´s even a perfekt beat 2 rap 2 !

  • A trumpet player who has played in Jazz big bands and understands that swing music does not need the addition of a plodding four to the bar clap along synthetic rhythm accompaniment.

Get bent? Waisting your time? Not just rhythmically illiterate.

  • So how is this any different to Jive Bunny?

Great music played by real musicians dumbed down by the rhythmically illiterate.

  • @pozharski it is great music, this just isn't your style...so don't knock it. Research parov stelar, he is an amazing musician and produces a lot of his music similar to this.

  • @blenderjj

Great music I agree - just doesn't need the addition of a synthetic rhythm accompaniment for those who cannot feel the swing in the original. It's Jive Bunny.

  • @pozharski Not sure I follow you, because the rhythm of any song is easy to find with or without a defined beat. It's not that the sound doesn't need the addition of something, that argument can be used against ANY mix or even in the very creation of a song, it's that this song was rearranged in such a way that sounded appealing. This was the cause, and the end result is just that. What it boils down to is, "Is this my cup of tea or is this not my cup of tea?"

    tl;dr, You're biased.

  • @SnapSunny

I've got no problem with remixing a song or rearranging it. I just don't see the merit in taking someone else's song and leaving it exactly as it is apart from superimposing an unsubtle rhythm track.

  • @pozharski i mean seriously, who are you to claim that the person who made this track is rhythmically illiterate? Clowns like you disgust me and i cannot believe I am waisting my time writing this reply. Get bent.

  • So how is this any different to Jive Bunny?

Great music played by real musicians dumbed down by the rhythmically illiterate.

  • This song is so fucking awesome when you are high!

  • @silvercrest55 Ignoramus of the year!

  • @silvercrest55 So not when you're sober huh? shucks.

  • @RoboticusMusic You're funny

  • @MrColumbine1234 Not really.

  • @silvercrest55 just so happens I am, and just so happens your right ...

  • @silvercrest55 Be sure This song is AWESOME in a natural state too !!!!

  • @silvercrest55 yeeeeaa buddy! its like you read my mind, its music for the soul man, could'nt love it more right now ^-^

    hahahaa eaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

i can rebel to this ;P

rebel is the new dance ;P

kind of like swing but WAY better chkk out my vids ;P

    DJ ZION ;P

  • Hell YEAH!!!!!!

  • It's a good track, but it's actually in straight time.

  • @wynntom Depends if you judge swing time by quavers or semiquavers in this. The semiquavers are swung.

  • @JoeJeffersonPhillips Dude, shut up...You don't know what the hell you are talking about. Has NOTHING to do with it. This song is straight four-four without an OUNCE of "swing".

  • @djfakt I would respect your argument more if you actually gave me some evidence instead of just copying 'djfakt''s comment.

  • @wynntom YES.

THANK YOU. This straight-up four-four. No swing AT ALL.

    Decent track though...

  • glad to se no justin bieber fans here hahah :P
