@MikeTupperTheKiller Hi! His French is French spoken with a Senegalese accent! "Terrible" is just your subjective opinion, which, of course, is taken into consideration, but at the same time, neither here nor there, just a simple subjective opinion!!! ;-)))
@MikeTupperTheKiller you are full of shyt, most senegalese speak many languages and french is one of the european languages yussuf ndour speaks, and i as someone who speaks french and lives in a french speaking country, yussuf ndour and the senegalese speak very very very good french, but as with any language displaced from its natural native home, french in senegal is different from french in belgium or france
with respect to all people , dido's voice is really great , her voice is so lovely and emotional , maybe not really good in this video but watch other live video's for her , she have a great voice
I post this video on my sites off and on. I come back to this as my favorite live perfomance of all time. I love these two and most of all, I love what they have accomplished here together.
Dido's strong voice melds well with N'Dour. The first two songs he does, Set, are very much Western influenced with a bit of Africa thrown in to finish it off. The third song, Birima, has a much more African sound with a style of electric guitar playing that is uniquely African. With his ever-evolving music style he is the one African Artist that seems to have transcended the barriers of language and has consistently represented the heart of Africa and it's issues.
this is so good......

I love this song, no matter who the female vocalist is. Both versions are great. It's the message and the feeling it conveys.
