DUDE!!!! the same thing happened to me exept that i didnt have to reset the game....here are the steps

1.Go to the park where you an take in cute Pokemon (I took in a Buneary so IDK what happens if you take another Pokemon [also be sure to save the game or else your game will permanently never work {unless you want it to never work again}])

2.Have an Action Replay and turn on the "Walking though walls"

3.Once you have your cute Pokemon with youinside the park thing keep walking up beyond ~

You shoul read bulbapedia, thats not missingno.. Missingno. is not shiny, what you call missingno. there is invisible shiny bulbasaur. If it was'nt shiny it would either be DPBox or missingno..

Crap. I remember i tried this with the amity square glitch, I was cloned then my clone changed colors and inverted its colors and sent out missingno... but the wild pokemon were both regular pokemon. But I tried the glitch more and more, it either freezes or it thinks the person with me is Riley! Wtf?

you can do this another way but i think you need a rom to do it.

Start the game normally until rival wants you to bring him to the lake.Forget him and walk through the trees to sangem town,where youl meet dawn.When shes done talking,go to the route where Giratina is and walk into the grass.then you should face 2 pokemon,you will be cloned and you will have 2 missingno's!!

I used the action replay on my pearl and I could walk through walls. I got through victory rod in no time. I ran over the top xD Some of these cheats can wreck the game tho. My diamond died after Action Replay.

But, all I did was run from a trainer battle (with action replay) and then run in the grass near Jubilife to try and catch a shinx.

Then, there was this big box thing at the top of the screen with a shadow under it, making a bulbasaur sound.

I freaked out, turned off my game, still freaking out and then went back in.

Only in generation 1 games (Green (Jap)Red, Blue and Yellow) will your game freeze or get damaged by the glitch Pokémon, if done wrong.

Oh, and bad EGGs can damage cartridges, but the DPbox glitch/invi shiny bulbasaur can't do any harm ^^ you should just run from the battle.

You don't need to start a new game.

This happens in the cave before the elite four, if you go out of it with the walk through walls code, after the girl joins your team, and you have to go out of the side where you exit the cave and go to the outside place where you find roselias.

you can see one if u use a walk anywhere code, agree to go with cheryl or somebody like that, then go to another area through the trees so they still think ur with them then go somewhere else and battle a pokemon. it will be a double battle and the person with u will send out a missingno

no they only do that on water and the look like you and the use 1 move: suisid when in grass you battle a normal when you have partner and event pokemon are double battle to ( 2 event) you can't use any hms besides rock smash, defog and strength

Missingno. basically refers to any glitch pokemon that pops out suddenly with no name. This is because only the first generation of pokemon (otherwise known as Monochromes) can muck up the data and return with MISSINGNO. Older generations can't do this, only show blank spaces.
