Barca play the best football currently and with Villa and hopefully Cesc on board that will continue to be the case for years to come. C'mon Voyeur let Cesc return to his homeland, he gave ARSEnal 7 years of his life and he played his heart out while voyeur refused to invest money into the team to strengthen the areas that needed strengthening hence the 5 barren seasons. From the age of 10 to 17, he had the Barcelona philosophy taught to him, Arsenal happened to be a club who have a similar mentality, that's why he's so great for you, he has essentially been trained the same way for 14 years in 2 different leagues. If he stayed at barca, he would still be world class.

Some of these kids are picked up at the age of 8(!) and are placed under extreme pressure and have to deal with high expectations, and if they don't they are thrown out on the streets again; As that is where they are picked up from.

That being said, Barcelona is a great club.

@SwitcherLittlebW To be truthful though - this happens in EVERY major football club, no club is going to keep a player they think cant cope with the massive pressure. Players have to be so athletic now, they get them whilst they're so young to ensure that if a child does possess talent, they can help the child with that talent. It's important to remember that it's not like an army camp - they give kids oppurtunities to shine and part of Barca's attractive football comes from enjoying it.
