Since Nick's passing nearly a month ago, I have been playing A&S songs daily. What an incredible journey it has been thanks to You Tube. There are quite a few songs I had forgotten about & several I found anew. Their contribution to several generations of music is vast and varied and thanks to technology it will not be lost. God truly gifted Nick & Val and used them to touch our lives. I pray for the peace of God that surpasses all understanding for Val & family. He was ready y’all.

I dug out this album yesterday , I have street opera also on vinyl , and they are in good condition , what a flashback to pull out the inserts and see the lyrics , they were a beautiful couple and their music depicted their love and emotional feelings about relationships and life , Rip Nickolas Ashford and God bless you Valerie and family.

Just so sad that Nick Ashford is no longer with us. This was one of my fav songs of the 80's. I didn't really know just how amazing this couple were. They have written some of the greatest songs ever.

Even in death, Miss Simpson doesn't want to be far from him.

I can't imagine her pain right now.
