I'd support Blair - well, his legs that is whilst I put the noose around his neck!
Get over Iraq?Isn't that the biggest problem here? Number one - how do you get over something that is still happening? Number two - would the hierarchy get over a citizen's wrongs because it happened a while ago?
The problem at present is not whether he is guilty of war crimes, but why the questions are never asked by the right authorities.
This guy will see the end of Britain as a nation and sell us to Europe.
i just cannot believe this. blair is soiled goods. he must not be considered for this. what is this guy on about? is this really the voice of the times? milliband says blair stops traffic!!! there must be a job where he would be useful!!
To clarify, The Times is lefty leaning of recent years, despite the odd story here and there, they have let New Labour have an easy ride of things. It is not the paper it was in the late 80's / early 90's with things like it's investigative team (Insight IIRC they where called).
Interesting I thought Diane Abbott abstained from the call for a referendum. To bring democracy to the EU would mean the end of the project of overbearing political control - this is going to get very messy.
The Times is left wing? Are you just having a laugh now? The Times is a News International paper, owned by Rupert Murdoch and run through James Murdoch and Rebekah Brooks. There is nothing left wing about them. I don't think Tony Blair is suitable for the job of President of the European Council personally, but you can't just say everyone who you disagree with is an idiotic left-winger. It's easy to just pass off opposition arguments on YouTube but it's overly simplistic in terms of real issues.
Murdoch will commission left-wing rants if he knew there would be money to be made in it. He is not a purveyor of right-wing views, he is a businessman.
Rebekah Brooks had to blatantly lurch The Sun to the right-wing of British politics to make sure she landed her cushy promotion up to News International, so it obviously pays to be a right-winger under Murdoch.
I think that was the first time i sided with Portillo, more people seem to be worried about who is going to be the president rather then why the fuck there is a president to start with. This country is so pathetic at the moment, fuck having a referendum lets have a revolution.
Was that a party political broadcast by Kamm.
Why are the establishment media trying to pimp the war criminal Blair anyway, the plebs dont get a vote.
old habits die hard i guess
Does Blair pay for this promotion, or is it on expenses.
I wonder if any of them will put forward Farage.

With New Labour in power no wonder it pays to be right-wing. :-)
