I think that the combining of these two movies into a single tribute is conceptually flawed. Mechanically, it's fine; but the continuity fails to convince, especially from 2:27 or so forward.
But, again, mechanically, this is excellent. Carry on.
I was 9 when I first saw Halloween, and just 2 days ago (Dec 30 2008 for people reading this later), I was in a record shop that to my surprise had movies as well. I bought Halloween & Halloween 2 on VHS and immediatly after I got home, me and my Dad watched both in a row. Also there was Halloween(Collecter's Edition on VHS), Halloween (Limited Edition DVD), Halloween (2007), (The rest are on VHS) Halloween 3, Halloween 5, Halloween The Curse of Micheal Myers and Halloween H2O. Just so you know.
Awesome i love Halloween and Halloween 2 is the best sequel ^_^
there is a DVD called Halloween Hell And Horror In Haddenfield which is the extended Halloween & Halloween 2 runing as one film which I really want O_o
Halloween II is easily the best sequel out of the series, and for good reasons. Critics just couldn't handle the gore in the movie. I say it's almost as solid as the original, with a much creepier and unsettling atmosphere.
The 'deleted scenes' were filmed during the production of Halloween II to fill out the two hour time slot for the original airing of Halloween on NBC (10/30/81)
They are widely available on DVD on different special editions of Halloween from Anchor Bay.
You can find more information about it on the net.
Good job on the video. I hold H1 in such high regard. Not many horror films have been able to capture the suspense minus the gore like carpenter did. Though I wasnt a huge fan of 2, part 3 made pt 2 look like The Godfather.
It's part of a series of videos I'm editing.. so I wanted to keep the title similar as possible for searches in related videos- Thanks also for the response!
great video!
love halloween.

Halloween one and two were complete works of genius - and then came Halloween 3 Season of the Witch which ruined it all, lol.
