i am french and i know what i am saying , but you don't. EUROcopter is a german/french company, and this helicopter has been created mostly by the french. if you don't believe me look on wikipedia...
My Local Flight Ambulance uses Duaphin N2, and they say it's a wonderful, high powered, high capacity helicopter and they wouldn't choose any other hele...My EMS is AirCare.
I'm a mechanic in the Coast Guard and a crew chief on the Dauphin. Very nice helo all around BUT it requires hundreds of more man hours for repairs per year than helos like it and the range isnt that great. The USCG is looking to replace it and has been evaluating other aircraft for years. I chose the Dauphin over the black hawk becuase then I get out I will be better suited for the civilian A&P industry.

do you work on the HH-65 a/b or C?the standard N3 is a very high performance helicopter.The 65a and b were underpowered.
Ec 155 is great but 139 is a beast(but high vibration during cruise).
