this elevator is really bad because you don't get any cell phone signal while you're inside it, that means if you get stuck you wouldn't be able to call for help !
If this is a 330A HT Schindler, then when it was modernized they must have re-done the hydraulics aswell. WEestinghouse I don't believe ever made hole-less hydraulics.
Its not that either or is faster. People prefer the elevators to go slower when there are fewer floors. Roped hydraulic elevators can go decently quick. Don't forget that traction is just pulleys and a motor, while hydraulics pump fluids to push the elevator up and down.
I would say that this elevator was completely remodeled. The doorframe on the outside of the elevator is rounded which signifies an elevator from the 1950's-1960's. It appears as if everything including the elevator cab was installed recently. This would also prove why the buttons outside are different. They were unable to change the frame due to the electronics are building in on the new Schindlers. Nice Video.
It would be better if you kept on going to the 3rd floor.

it was carpet in the elevator when i was there in december of 2007. So they again remodeled the elevator all they did was changed the carpet.

this was clearly modernized, and originally a westinghouse, evidenced by the door frame, which aren't found on any other brand of elevator

And those buttons are TXPress if they were modernized by Schindler.

HXpress, not TXpress.
