@HERO you can use dart traps. ALOT easier and safe. BUT the traps dont kill them as fast but thats ok. AND Skeleton statues spawn skeltons and they somtimes drop hooks. Bomb statues can be put on a reapeater to get alot of bombs :D

You could lower the lava level. I believe a minimum of 4-6 block horizontal per 1 bucket of lava. That way no items are destroyed.

@HERO Goldfish always drop themselves, and a stack of 99 goldfish can be sold for a bit over 1 gold. Replace the bat and the crab with goldfish blocks, and then its an optimal farm

i seal statues in a box and kill mobs with dart traps, that way i can go exploring and the drops won't get destroyed in the lava.

I use a different design. Instead of a second timer, I use a bunny statue and 4 pressure plates, using the bunny statue and a switch to spawn 3 bunnies, which run along the pressure plates. And then use many rows of 3. And just enough lava to kill but not kill the items.

@HERO if your lava is thin enough the items WONT burn up but it will still kill the mobs it can be REALLY thin just make the U shape thing a lot longer and wait for the lava that you poured out of the bucket to settle and then cut it off so it will still be in the same shape as your spawner it work's

If you need a money farm, use a goldfish statue. Each goldfish sells for two silver. One stack (99) sells for about two gold.

@randomriffsrawsome For me how I did was, get a mini shark with meteorite and if you can a star cannon. Also try flattening out a run way so you dont have to jump over things and stumble when running back and shooting at it. Also potion up as possible. Hope that helped.

@randomriffsrawsome pheonix blaster with meteor shots, rocket boots or grav potion to avoid lava(obsidian skin and water walking also work) and necro armour or better (preferably molten) and just run away from it to a point that you cant see it and shoot in its direction, worked great, i did it with 240 max health and a grav potion
