As of on December 16, 2008, the youngest person to reach the summit of Aconcagua was Matthew Moniz of Boulder, Colorado. He was 10 years old when he reached the summit.
This is more like a case of parents allowing kids to realize there full potential and abilitys. With the proper guidence and experience anything is possible as we can see with Jordan, paul, and Karen.
