I love Queen of Blending too...(and this might come out wrong but I honestly don't mean it in a bad way, I do enjoy her) but a lot of her looks are too wild for me and I'd never wear them in public, I still enjoy looking at hers though. Aubrey takes bright, wild pretty colors and tames them down and applies them very beautifully. I like it.

Pretty much--eyeshadow is just pigment that's pressed with some alcohol into a pan :p

Raw pigments are in loose powder, and I guess you could say the color payoff is better when applied wet/or dry =)
