I really don't understand the hate. I haven't even seen Shine and I find this recording pretty great. o.o

The only positive I can give is that it's a live recording. Apart from that; awful cadenza. Terribly erratic, irrational dynamics. I mean...1:02->1:07 - What the hell was that about? The conductor had a big job keeping this one together. And 7:21->7:25 - even it being a live recording is no excuse for that clumsy, amateur-like lack of technique.
