Mate, it was an enjoyable lap to watch and your lines were pretty good but come on, put your foot down, I got a quicker lap than that in my Stock Clio 182 (aside from the Toyo R888's on the rear and Exalto Pe2's on the front.)

check out other nurburgring laps in Mk1 williams mate, bit of difference you may notice, was my first time at ring in the V6 and was abit worried about stacking it into a armco (understandably) lol

@skillfool As a writer in Evo magzine put it this month "there are two types of clio v6 owner, those who have spun there clio and hit something and those who have spun thier clio and not hit something" The clio has fuck all grip, its so easy to spin its not even funny, and you ask if hes scare of something? of course he fucking is! Looks good. Some magazine tested the various Clios and said the the 172 cup was sometimes quicker because it didn't spin so easily.  So good work.

Remember that any idiot can talk about the ring, but actually going there and doing it something else.

If you're saving up to get one you need to be careful that you can afford to run it. There are lots of hidden costs.

All parts are quite expensive, pads&discs £500.

Tyres all round £700

Cam belt change £800

Insurance, it's my 4th year with the v6 mk2, I'm 25 and it's gone down to £900 this year (7 yrs no claims, no points etc.)

Tax £400 a year

Gearbox is weak if you screw the car, a new one will set you back at least £3000.

You buy cheaper parts and you'll probably crash!

@ske07 Yeah, he would if he knew the track, i mean its like 13 miles or something long so why the hell would he floor it without knowing whats coming up next. For example on a normal track, Silverstone for instance you would learn the track in about and hour no problem imagine how much time it would take in order to learn the entire nurburgring, so people that are commenting saying go faster etc. think before you comment, especially on somebody elses driving of which you have never done!
