Good video Mark, I also collect military radio, I have 2 prc320's, a PRC319, PRC352, PRC349, SEM-52. Pye Compak 8, B40 rx, Racal RA17 rx . I also have spy sets MK 123, and a homebrew 'Paraset' (i have a video of my paraset on youtube )....Ilike the camo net in the shack ......I was thinking of getting a VRC321, this may have persueded me !........
Ok understood.. I'd like a 321 mainly so I could get onto an AM net we have over here but the weight of the thing and the ancills would make that a bit impractical. But the green kit is fun..
I've not modified mine yet... both the 320 and the 321 are USB only which is a bit of a chore as I understand the 321 has a more space for a comfortable mod but I have other equipment (black boxes) in the shack that have LSB so I'm not sure if I will mod them, When i'm out with the 320 the vertical antennas and the 2.4 meter whip are better at 20m and above which is all USB.
I have a turf to pick up but i've been lazy, I use my Palstar AT2K for ease.
Mark - Just trying to catch up on subscriptions . . . things very busy here with the new First-Aid Kit venture. I have to say, I am very taken by "the green radios" . . . very cool! I would say you are The Clansman Radio Man for sure. I always enjoy a peek into your shack and a chance to see what is happening with this very interesting line of radios. 73 & Thumbs Up!

Hi Mark,
Have you modified the 321 for LSB? As I understand it the 321 SSB is USB only?? Fine for 20m but a bit of a challenge for 80m + 40m.
Do you also have a TURF??
Cheers + 73

Very nice! Your collection is looking good. The camo netting makes your shack a real "hooch".

U keep this up and may have to get one. Problem is they are expensive to get in USA because of freight. But I like the Green Radios
Thanks for keeping us posted
