A sign in a local neighborhood where I live reads this. Not only in reference to phones, but anything that takes your eyes off of the road. It's not so important that it can't wait until you get where you're going, and if it is, then pull over and do it. Would you rather reach your destination, or have someone call whoever is waiting there to tell them you won't be there because you died? Think about that next time your eyes are anywhere but the road.

hi i have just watched on tv here in uk extreme makeover and am so happy with all the work you do

here in uk we have a fine of £60 and 3 points on your driving licence for holding a fone in your hand ... but i have bluetooth in my car but still have to take my eyes of the road if i need to call so i only use it if i get a incoming call as you only have to push a button but keep it short ...it is a prombliem all over the world ..sorry for your loss am a mum grandma to

I lost 2 of my best friends a month apart due to distracted drivers. They were not texting but the car behind them was the driver of that car walked away without a scratch so this is a big deal for me and my friends

I'm so happy someone is actually doing something about this. I lost a friend to texting and driving, her passenger was also killed. People don't see it as a problem, but you are putting yourself in danger and everyone else around you. I don't want to be responsible for the loss of someone's life.

Alex was such a beautiful girl. I have lost several cousins and friends due to texting and driving. There's nothing worse than getting a phone call saying someone so close to you has been killed. I really hope this opens eyes to many, because texting and driving is just a wreck waiting to happen. You can be the best driver in the world, and it's still dangerous. As I watched the show it touched my heart!! I am a mother of 2 boys and I text and drive while my boys are in the car. Never long txts, just small ones. But I realize after seeing this show that it doesn't matter how long or short your text is!! I am putting my kids lives in danger..as well as my own or a stranger I may hit if I got in a wreck. Tonight after the show, I took the pledge!! I will no longer text and drive!! I will no longer have any distractions while I drive!!!
