@JulianoRamirez I don't see why that is such an issue. If you want a quality 'H' pattern shifter there are a few options online. I don't believe any wheel manufacturer; logitech or fantatec included make a wheel package with an H pattern shifter which is good. They feel like afterthoughts and are made to a price point. I have used both the G25 and the Fanatec shifters and they are crap.

Racing sims on PC are superior than on consoles, and with nice setup it'll be really realistic.

However, the amount of contents offered to us by GT and Forza are much larger than most PC sims because they MAKE money better than PC sims, much better...

I just hope GT and Forza will improve to be more realistic, GT with serious damage model and Forza to be more like a proper race sim.

This wheel rocks! I don't care it's not compatible with 360 since I'm not Forza fan!

People, this IS absolutely the wheel with the best ffb effects! The Fanatec wheels only have one motor in the base for ffb. The other two motors are in the wheel for vibration when your abs is on. T500 RS is better than fanatec wheels, I also have a gt3 rs v2, i know what I say...

@Simracer92 ya sorry but for 599, its a little pricy. compared to the fanatec gt3 rs this is better, of course, because it's more than 400$ more. compared to the CSR elite, which is in the same price point, the fanatec is better value for money. real carbon fiber as opposed to plastic, belt drive as opposed to gears, led display on the wheel as opposed to nothing, i know your comment was 11 months ago, but it was a stupid one. (for comparing a 170$ wheel with a 600$ wheel)

but yes it is 50 $ less but it includes the TH8 RS Shifter which is 200 $ alone. That means you would get the wheel, the pedals and the shifter! (wheel + pedals for 350 $)

In your comment you compared the price with the CSR Elite. It's absolutely NOT the same price point. The CSR Elite is a different league - it's a lot better than the T500. You must pay 540 $ for the wheel and 200 $ for the CSP.. 740 total

@Simracer92 I wouldn't say the csr is better... other than the compatibility...I would say they are the same.. 540+ 200+ 50( table clamp) + 60( for shifter)... 850 just to use this thing to its full potential. Performance wise they have been noted to be very close.....

If you do not drift in LFS with this wheel this FFB test is meaningless. I want to see you grab the wheel so we can see if it has the strength to keep going and not stop. The driving force GT is Horrible in Live for Speed. I got my Fanatec GT3RS hooked up and it's extremely realistic. Also GT5 feels like the tires are made of rocks. LFS along with the graphics feels like you're in a car. lol

@Gnomie86 from what I have read and heard it has the best FFB possible without spending money on a FREX or ECCI wheel which are both bove $1k. The problem I have with the wheel is this.. There is NO H pattern that comes with it nor does it even have the option to get one for it, also the stationary paddleshifters is a big WTF kind f thing for me. That seems so stupid to do on such a nice wheel. With FREX coming out with ll kinds of new products to fit the G25 and G27 wheels, That's where I'm at.

Alo think about this, you have a F1 car and you have the wheel turned 90degrees to the left or right going round a corner, suddently you need to downshift because you either are going to fast or because you have someone slower in front of u.. Well with this wheel you have no paddles to hit when at 90 degrees. I use a G27 and I never get "confused".. but nice try on the defense.. Still crap.

I have heard this wheel will have some of the best FFB to date ( this is speculation ) and even if it is true I still find it hard to believe that you don't get the shifter with the wheel for $500!! Even the Fanatec top of the line GT2 w/ CLUBSPORT PEDALS (load cell) + SEQ & H pattern is only $550. Sorry but the price needs adjusting..Keep in mind GT2 is XBOX360,PS3 & PC compatible!! Sorry but that wins.
