Those Barça arms weren't stretched (as in parallel to the floor), they were close to the body but just happened to cross the path of the ball. Just look at the footage again.

@S1rWakka the reason why its not raining penalties is because defenders aren't blocking shots with their fully extended hands like pique (that was the example i was using) if that was a good ref that would of been a penalty and red card doesn't matter if its intentional or not, rules are rules

There's a lot of subjectivity since you can't read the player's mind. Some refs feel that if you go scarecrow that you're asking for it while others handle the rules more strictly and demand a hand-to-ball situation be4 they point to the dot.
