Ok I get that this film has no joker. But obviously you see a lot of prisoners who have escaped arkum 1.06, so just out of curiosity where is the joker being locked up? Again I stress I know there will be no joker but will there be any reference to him in the film? Cos I don't see how you can break out loads of prisoners without the joker.

@r1o9n8a6n The Joker doesn't feature in this movie, Christopher Nolan himself said he doesn't feel comfortable about replacing Heath Ledger. He will definetly be mentioned, but he won't have any screen time. Of course, NO ONE will be able to tell you any specifics on what is said/where he is being detained because only the production team knows.

After Chris Nolan's championing of practical fx over CGI whenever feasible, the near comedic, Power Rangers-quality football field collapse is downright disheartening. A highly detailed, massive scale miniature destroyed by several hundred pounds of pyro integrated with green screened players and supplemental CGI could have been jaw-dropping. Kerner Optical's work of this nature on Terminator Salvation was outstanding.

In this instance, it looks like Chris Nolan, literally, dropped the ball.

Riddler may sound fun but let's face it he never really delievers on the villain part. More like an annoyance. Pioson Ivy would have troble working in this series. A human plant hybrid who can control plants is hard to swallow realistically. But more importantly the villain must serve a purpose in BATMAN'S story and how he reacts to them.
