  • this is the Retarded Bugs bunny i dont like him that much glad they changed him

  • 70 years old

  • TURN OFF THAT LIGHT!!

  • is this the second time he appeared offically as bugs bunny ?

  • @SNB222

yes, but it's the first time his name is actually mentioned....

  • @SNB222

first time he appeared was in "A Wild Hare"(reissued as "The Wild Hare"), but this was the first Cartoon that actually gave the character's name.

  • Although it's the second Bugs Bunny cartoon released, I believe it may have been produced before "A Wild Hare". This Bugs is a transitional phase between the Hardaway-Dalton "Happy Rabbit" and what we see later in "Tortoise Beats Hare" and Falling Hare". Elmer, too, would undergo some changes, particularly in Clampett's cartoons, before his design was finally settled on in "Hair-Brained Hypnotist".

  • why this is the first time i saw him eat somethin other than carrots

  • if there was a class in carttoons id always get A+

  • lol why are kids gloves yellow? was it an error in the illustration process?

  • @megadisneyfan2 *his*

  • Elmer was such a nice guy here, it makes me feel fuzzy inside. But Bugs... Can't live without that personality lmao

  • Eating part = makes me hungry.

  • His voice is hard to get used to! O_O

  • TURN OFF THAT LIGHT!!!!!

  • OH GEE BUGS SOUNDS SOOOOOO MUCH LIKE HE DOES IN THE LOONEY TUNES SHOW

  • I take it this is a prototype of the Bugs that we know, or he is Bugs' older brother pretending to be him just for this picture.

  • Elmer THINKS he bought the rabbit as his "pet", 'Divine', but later scenes dictated otherwise {"I BEG your pardon, Sir- PLEASE WAIT YOUR TURN!!"}. Originally released in January 1941, and Chuck Jones' second cartoon featuring Bugs and Elmer

  • Bugs is not elmer's pet, this is a self judgement test about adoption crime. --

  • @DivineNucleus adoption crime?

  • @nwojunkie media stories are often a moral or a fable to help people make choices, I don't like that bald elmer fud, he's ugly, so I made the comment that bugs bunny can't be adopted by elmer, because that would be revolting. A moral about adoption crime.
