@InsideGamingZone My G9x chord was toast after 6 months. I'm not the only one who's had this problem. It is a good mouse, just be ready to deal with Logitech support A LOT getting replacements while it's under warranty.

@maartenn46 I have the complete opposite problem. I've got through a G5, G500 and G9x all in 2 years. All because of the garbage chord that Logitech uses. Don't get me wrong, the G9x is probably my favourite mouse of all time and I really miss it, but it's not worth the hassle I went through it. Now using a Razer Imperator. Not the greatest mouse, but it gets the job done and is so far lasting longer than any Logitech mouse I've owned.

@imjansd theyre ok... i had my RAT 7 before the laser died... the customizable stuff didnt work really well. the thumb part wouldnt stay in place when i would make it angle out and the screw on the pinkie plate thing wouldnt unscrew and I stripped the screw. the weight system works well, it feels really awesome. i liked using it but the parts that came with it sucked :( and the sniper mode thing works pretty well :P

Im looking for a gaming mouse to go with My Asus G74 that I will be ordering soon. I have a palm grip, and really big hands. The reason I say, 'ordering soon' is because I am customizing mine and have the choice to add a mouse to my purchace. Here's the thing I don't get, and forgive my ignorance as I've never used a fancy mouse before. This mouse has 5 buttons from what I can see, not counting the two below the left button that switch between different profiles. What about changing the DPI *without* changing the whole profile? Let's say I want a single profile for an FPS game, mouse4 and 5 bound to keyboard macros, and a way of changing sensitivity for sniping. Do I have to change the whole profile or what?

What I'm asking is whether wanting to hot-switch DPI while in-game means you have to sacrifice mouse4 and mouse5 to bind them to "increase dpi" and "decrease dpi"/sacrifice mouse4 to bind it to "toggle between these two dpi settings", or whether there's another way. I know you could just switch PROFILES mid-game but that seems redundant if the whole point of the onboard memory is to have a profile for each game.

@bammargeraskate96 if you have the money get a g9x and a g19 because they both change colour together and g19 is pretty cool (look up a video). razer ones arent that bad. get naga if you play mmo a lot. im not sure about imperator. for keyboard if you cant afford the g19 go with a g15, i find them a lot better than lycosa.

I think ill have to convert to this product after having a Razer Imperator which has the HORRIBLE Z-AXIS twitching issue. This is from the Phillips twin eye sensor...Razer FAIL! BTW RAT 7 has these issues too..
