Guy's i figured out how to use the mortar, i will post a video soon, i just figured today, i'm heading for work now so i can't make the video today. Oh and a little tip for now, 1 increment on the leaf sight means around 80 meters. second 160 meters, third 240 meters. Hope this helps for now. Check my channel soon for the video..

This one time I had a hit and used a mortar to blow up his entire group. I think he was rolling on the ground when I went up to it because I didn't get a mission complete. The point it, mortars are fantastic if you know how to use them.

farcry 2 was by far one of the most fun games i ever played, sure, the missions were repetitive and it had it's bugs but it was so authentic and fun. what's more fun than mortaring a herd of gazelle!?!?!? also the mulitplayer was one of the best i ever played, it's a shame so little people played it though, it's also a shame that i broke my game disc.

Excelent. A marksman sniper / mortar is one deadly combination. Best to keep an Uzi or something automatic as a sidearm for those two incase the action gets close. One of the most fun games going on PS3 once you get into it.

I found a decent way, go to a large empty area (you can make a MP map, but not necesary). See how far it will go whe it's at the bottom of it's trajectory, at one fourth, at one half, and at the top(check that little rectangular circle with notches). Eventually you'll get the hang of it. And if you're impatient just fire smokes, steadily adjusting your trajectory and direction.
