i'm talking about later on with Stadium Arcadium...now i read an article in Rolling Stone back in Spring I think of 2006 and the article stated that Flea was thinking about quitting because of him disagreeing artistically with John over riffs or basslines. It was on the issue where they were the cover when Stadium Arcadium came out. Check it out, its been a few years since i've read it and let me know...

also, in that same article, there was a section on John talking about how he left the peppers a few times but always came back and how the Peppers was the only Rock Band he's actually ever really been apart of. It also mentioned how him and Anthony along with the others, split after blood sugar sex magic, because he got tired of partying, chasing girls, etc... my memory is a bit clouded but, that was all in the article....check it out and let me know...

Anthony and John didn't talk for months before John left. If they met in the corridor they didn't say hi.

And he didn't quit for rehab, he quit because he didn't like the fame and when he had quit he decided to become a junkie. he lay in his appartment all alone, took drugs and wrote music and painted. he went to rehad 1997 and came back afterwards :D
