Can somebody specify as to what this movie is about? The trailer is just- fuck it im not watching it. Its all like -pan to tom hanks -pan to daniel craig -pan to son - pan to gunshots, and then comes the happy music. Pffft.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions. My top 5 actors of all time are in no particular order: Tom Hanks, Robert Deniro, Al Pacino, Morgan Freeman, and Wil Smith. In my eyes none of them has made a bad movie, and all of them can do comedy and drama.  Thats what makes this so awesome because I'm sure not everyone will agree with me and argue my selections, and I am OK with that. All 5 of them are very selective with the roles they take as well.

god I love this film. It's my favorite film of all time and honestly is one of the best pieces of cinematography ever created. It deserves so much more recognition then what it's gotten and honestly every one should watch this, especially for the acting done by Tom Hanks and Paul Newman.

Out of all the movies in 2002, this is my favorite movie of that year. Tom Hanks is incredible in this film. Too believable. The boy who played his son was also amazing. The rest of the cast was outstanding, the cinematography is breathtaking, the music was wonderful and Sam Mendes should have won the Oscar for Best Director, because godmanit was it good.

Fuck Chicago. That movie was garbage compared to this amazing film.

Wow I feel that the score in this trailer does not fit very well. This movie is pretty dark and quite sad the whole way through and while it does have some moments of joy it is not like what the score in the trailer is trying to pass it off.

This trailer was excellently done, I was so pumped to see this movie. Newman was great in this film, Law dove into the character to lose his looks, but Hanks wasn't as good as i thought. Future stars Daniel Craig and Stanley Tucci started the road to success with this movie.

Great Movie! Saw it 12 years ago and i'm gonna see it today :) They should have made a second movie where his son avanges his father and kills that mobster Paul Newman ;) but now its too late to make a franchise
