Hey Slowflake, if you have the magnet on Raiku, than Thunderbolt would do more damage than Shadoball. 95*1.5*1.2 = 171 > 160

I've done the math and Raikou's super-effective Shadow ball has only about 20 more power than Raikou's STAB Thunderbolt so damage rolls could have had an effect in the odd damage. It comes to this:

STAB Thunderbolt comes to about 142.5 power

Super-effective Shadow ball comes to 160 power

I agree with you, you got unlucky with the damage rolls.

It would be much better if Forewarn showed you all of the opponent's moves, but even then, it would be quite redundant.
