Just to clear up any confusion... I'm not saying Texas or any other school "stole" the Wabash from Kansas State, or that any variation is better than another, but K-State definitely played Wabash first.

No, we just have one of the top Engineering colleges in the nation, the 7th ranked construction science program in the nation, and we have one single course that gets more undergrads into KU med than ANY of KU's programs. Not to mention that we rank FIRST in the country in Rhodes, Udall, Marshall, Truman, and Goldwater scholars. WE HAVE PROGRAMS THAT ACTUALLY MATTER... NONE OF THAT LIBERAL ARTS FLUFF. We actually want to make a positive difference in society...

We have exactly the same academic standards for admissions but KU because they charge higher tuition and are snobbier , THINK that they get a higher learning from it. Us Tubas tend to swing left, right, forwards, backwars, and...well, we go mad! I'm not sure if you ever heard of the songs Mad Dog or The Band Is Hot, but when we play those (basically same song), we go MAD!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHA. But seriously.. we dance like crazy.
