I watched this with my mate and im 11 year old girl... it wasnt that scary for me as when i was a little girl my brother made me watch grudge alone in a small room when he was tryin to scare me he showed me how they made it after (it was like a bonus dvd) and that she wasnt real but dint help at all lol and ever since then i always run down stairs coz im afraid lol poor me.. but yh it isnt that scary accualy when i watched this part of the movie 1:27 i pissed my self HAHA: D so funny ;)

This is a great movie, one of my favorites in fact, but the ending is horrible and that's a shame because it ruins what is otherwise one of the best and creepiest horror films of the last decade. If you haven't seen it yet, I'd highly recommend it as long as you go in expecting to be disappointed by the last five minutes. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Essentially this movie was about a murder case with a "touch" thrown in involving the ghost and the possessions. Why didn't Penelope Cruz just come out and say the cop was raping her? I understand the ghost possessing Barry, but why would the ghost torment her the entire time? And the ending, the little boy's ghost... is it implying there is another killer? Or is that boy a victim of her husband's from the past? Average movie at best.

Everyone thought she commited suiside. But she didn't and the ghost KNEW that Miranda would find out. And I wondered about the little boy too..

Second, I'm not against accents, but I think an actor has to work on his character. I mean, I can understand her accent, since she's not native, but when acting, she could at least try to fake an accent (if the character requires it).

Meh, Gothika wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible. They pretty much showed all the scary parts here in the trailer, and there were some parts around the movie's end that were just unnecessary, IMHO. I *was* watching it in french, so that might not have given me the best impression - but then, I'd watch Robert Downey Junior in swahili if I had to ;D
