Why not halak? quite simple, canadiens of montreal decided price was gonna be #1 and there was no chance huet would accept to be #2 . I'm happy with price because he's young and very talented but huet will be missed because he was a nice guy and a nice goalie.
Then why didn't he get a start when Price was sent to Hamilton (in January)? Huet played 13 straight games that month, and he played so well that he didnt even let Halak play a game before Price came back lol.
He's good, but his talent just isn't well recognized right now. Huet is definately the better goalie.

Halak is a good goalie of course, but the Canadiens believe Price to have more potential.
