To all the girls watching this video who have naturally curly hair, get either side-swept bangs or straight bangs. When you hair is still wet, spray all over with leave in conditioner and USE A WOODEN COMB. I cannot stress this enough! Plastic combs/brushes cause frizziness, no matter how much product you use. Wooden combs leave your hair silky and glossy effortlessly! Gently scrunch your hair after combing and let it air dry. Once it's dry, straighten your bangs and ta-da! Easy gyaru hair!

Did you use hairspray afterwards? Lightly spray to get lasting curls, yet are still flexible. You can also buy spray that you apply to your hair before styling, and then afterwards it helps the hairstyle stay in place. I would recommend hairspray the most though! xoxo

Oh i'm glad you mentioned thrift stores, because i love them so much!

The best thing you can do when shopping for Gyaru Clothing (in any store at all) is have an idea of what you want to buy. Have an i-pod? I upload pictures of outfits from Magazines that i adore, and when in shops, have a quick look through the pictures, and try to find something similar in the store! C:

Popteen have also shown clothes from H&M, so you can also shop there, like the models themselves! xoxo

Oh well, i suppose you could always try some shampoo and conditioners that are designed to leave hair 'straight and smooth'- Aussie is great, but a bit pricey, so i would recommend Herbal Essenses. xoxo

@Axthiee No problem Honey- If you have wavy hair, it may not be too much of a problem. However, i would recommend blow-drying it straight, or simply straightning it. Once you have it in the style, it'll be easy to tease it at bit on the top if you want volume, and also on the 'pony-tail', because it would look better that way! xoxo
