guys who believe Hadramout is supirior, lets see here, well it isn't really that modern, more than 3000 inhabitants not much, really poor, not much of a country?
well most left the country, u know Bin Laden? U know the Sultan of Bruni? u know the richest saudis? u know the prime mister of Malaysia? u know the forigen minster of indonisa? u know the.... thier all Hadramis, i think that should be enough for u
thanks for uploading this video man, I went through almost all your vids and they all rock. don't worry about the coffee I know coffee was discovered in Yemen but Qat was discovered in Ethiopia though that's our pride you know what I mean.
well just like u said "story" there is no real facts. but yemenis also say that the plant could be naturally found in yemen because western yemen has identical climat and back in history it was one land, and the turks learned it from yemen as they stayed in yemen for many years
well ethipia and yemen share very close climets and dont forget we r only 20 kilos away from each other(also there is no 100% proff that it came from ethipia only), but the modern coffee was discovered by yemenis and yemenis were the first to grow it as it was never farmed in ethiopa (wildly grown only)and 2, eithipans never used to drink it (they used to eath the fresh beans)
and also Yemen was the country to first export it to the world through its famous port of Mocha (just like mocha coffee) and through this we see the famouse Arabia coffee wish is the best coffee in the world.
I cant say much for the country itself because i know little of it, but I must say old Yemen architecture and cities are some of the most amazing I have ever seen in any country.
Brother if ur talking about ur brothers in the south, then they are not hater, they love yemen more then the average Yemens, they are fed up with our corrupted governement that did nothing for Yemen! and unfortunelty our brothers in the north support this and dont want to do anything about it!
Brother, haters will be hating even if we are in the best-shape. They have the hate in them and will always be in them no matter where they go south or north, they will still desire to bring destruction to the country.
and these are not the people in the south, they are just punch of betrayels who sold their country in the best and willing to sell it today for even a banana.
true a few are but i assure u that 99.999% of Yemenis in the north or in the south are fed up! and it seems that the southerns are the only ones going out to the street while the northerns in far north are worried about thier tribes, Tahama 2 poor to move and the people of Taiz and Ibb dont exist! every one knows the sad realty of Yemen but people want to lie and lie
Nice effort njguynorth80. It easy to know that you are from the south since I can see the balance of your videos (balanced mix of south and north) most of videos about Yemen views mostly the north and a bit of the south. As of the argument with tjr2002, Hadramis always think they are different for many good reasons (read history)..by the way, are you from Al-Maharah.. I am asking because not anyone we will bring that "forgotten" jewel to the public since many are ignorants about it.
Music is awesome too although it is not Yemeni or Arabic;) .. it sounds like the native south American music (that of the Incas, Aztec, Maya) .. it gives that ancient flavor anyway :)
no am from aden,, roots to lahj but i know al mahra is very forgoton even its music, i just love mahri accent and music i wish i can change things but i cant
Absolutely breath-taking. Where exactly are these castles/sites in yemen? Everytime I go, I try to hit up the hot spots (archaelogically speaking), but I have never seen these spectacles. Beautiful video.
Most of the mud colored buildings are in Hadramout and Al-Maharh. Usually the stone built castles are in the mountainous areas in the north. But there are always exceptions.
well this is different for a change the castles are beautiful and i mostly loved the rainbow colored one and the white one i enjoyed ur video thanks. and u guys stop fighting u making us yemenis look bad why would u argue about politics in here anyways. naheee.
you are trying to steal our heratage too Hadramout is bigger than ur small brain thinking. do not include it in your legends ok
With no shame u inclding Al-Sultan Alkatheri Palace in ur damn legends. It shows that Hadramout is/was and will be a State a Sultanah. men Ayam Mamlakat Kindah We do not go beg like your shawysh 3ali does in every visit to Saudi why do not u include 3ali Al7mar palace in San3a it is built from begging and stealing
i ain't ur brother , and will kick u out, u plan it long (hence al7ez alshtraki alyemeni ) not al7athrami. it happened before (Imam alyemen,) u were kicked , only thing we are people of honor and integrity (including Albeth) which u guys lack. U are good back steppers
well if ur from the south do not put our land under yemen. Say it loud Hadramout I am not wishwash I am hadrami period. this yemen occupation nightmare will go end soon
no he didn't sell us out, he is Hadrami, he believed the lie (alwa7dah) whic all the "Yemenis" presidents couldn't agree on, because it takes a to thief know a thief. So Ali Salem wasn't one of them. that is the whole point
Nytereader coffee was discovered in Ethiopia and Queen of Sheba (Meakeda) Was Ethiopian. It's just that people from Yemen have hard time accepting this two simple facts.
lets assume that coffee was discovered in ethiopia, then way was Yemen the only country growing it till the 1700th c? and even the word coffee comes from the turkish cahva that comes from the yemeni word kahwa. also the queen of shiba was in yemen and that not my idea but all the hisotrians just do a little googleing and u will see it. the kingdom of shibe ruled some part of africa (eithiopia)but thier capital has always been Marib in Yemen
My friend, myths aside, we can trace the origins of coffee as we know it back to
2000 BC to 850 AD in Ethiopia, where people created a thick mush consisting of animal fat and coffee. From this concoction, the Ethiopians later discovered coffee roasting. Since the coffee tree grew wild only in Ethiopia, a coffee culture wouldn't emerge until the tree found its way to Yemen in the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries."
as far as the queen of shiba, this was before the 1980 dicoveries, as u know the kingdom of shiba had a famouse dam and this dam is in marib yemen and if u simple google queen of shiba everthing will come to Yemen
no in the fourteenth cent it was first intro to Europe but as far as yemen it was first know in the 6th c, the plant may had came from ethiopia but the ethiopanis never farmed it or even drinked it (they may ate it not drink it)
yup i tasted it when I came back to yemen oh so tastey better than american but it really depends on the beans. Yemen should replace qat farms with homes, banks, forts, monuments, or farms. Yemen would be much better if we did do that. and theres lots of space so we can build manythings I just wonder whynot it might cost a bit we won't regret it!
Very Good. Thanks for posting such detailed pics. But if we can have a captioned version.

So, we can say for sure that coffee originated in Ethiopia and Queen of Sheba was Ethiopian. thx
