Ok I am from Denmark, and as far as I can tell through diffrent information sources throughout my life about Russia.

It's a Huge Country with alot of Diffrent terrain.

The Soldiers are overly Hardcore and can be described as "Nowadays, Tactical Smart Vikings", despite their place of origin :D

Communicism is bad for some reason, but if I had to go to either Russia or America, I think I'd go for Russia.

Thanks for posting. You should heat up this stuff before eating it. I would look up MREJAP on youtube. He's already opened one of these and SEVERAL other rations from around the world and tried them. He'll show you how to use that heater system. It's a good thing you DIDN'T use that thing inside you're home, as it is a pretty bad fire hazard. As for the can opener, fine an old army vet who's eaten the old C-rations. They used a similar can opener to open those cans as well.

No, its shelf life is about 1 year. The crackers usually go rancid after that. Meats and porriges last for 3-5 years at least, on the other hand.

Indeed it does. That's why it's actually forbidden to subsist on this ration only for more than 3 days, or 6 days max if the tactical situation is not permitting. After that the hot food delivery from the rear lines should be set up.

I read that the universal incentive with every army is to bring up field kitchens as fast as possible, as MREs are expensive and serving the troops cooked food is much cheaper.
