The pentagram was originally a symbol of Female fertility, commonly used greek gods, or also used in magic for summoning and\or transmutation, such as the beliefs of Medieval age Alchemists. It was only described as a Satanic symbol recently, due to the fact some believed they could summon the demons of hell to do their bidding.

This is the same as saying that KISS is satanic because the name is supposedly an acronym for Knights In Satan's Service, even though the band is not satanic at all. Who declared the Pentagram as a symbol of evil to begin with? The church did. I'm not a satanist, but I don't follow the church blindly. So, unless the band has admitted that they are, the fact is that they are not. Cheers!

Now, it may have been a modified video, but I saw on youtube an interview where HIM declared they loved their dark lord, and praised him with their music. Though, I suppose I shouldn't be throwing around things such as this without 100% proving that the video is factual... Hmm... I will research deeper.
