I liked Kurt when I was like 13 before I knew what good music was. It was the commercial crap that MTV shoved down your throat as alternative music. Eventually I discovered real music but it certainly wasn't through overrated crap like Nirvana. It never ceases to amaze that kids that were babies or not even born stick up for this shit band as they did when they actually around. They all have the same mindless attitude too and haven't even heard anything beyond mainstream bands like Nirvana.

I expect posts like this from 12 year olds on youtube, but not someone in their 30s. Music is subjective. There is no point trying to argue with someone that something is bad. You'd think a 34 year old would know that people have their own tastes in music and that "Good" and "Bad" are two words that don't exist in music.

@lxa9466 yes there is a way to argue against that. music itself is not subjective. you can have subjective musical tastes but the music itself is not subjective. it can be objectively measured and compared to other music and musical formulas. its all about context. are you trying to pass time (nirvana, the beatles etc...) or challenge yourself (beethoven, mingus, frank zappa etc...) also you would not be tolerable of a 40 year old man in the hells angels who likes miley cyrus and justin beiber.
