It's Always Sunny's inside shots are all done in LA. Any shots outdoors are filmed in Philly.

They film the shows in parts. Where they do a bulk of the show's shots in LA, then the cast and crew fly to Philly and go back and film all of the outdoor shots in Philly.

actually, unlike cold case, almost all of sunny is filmed in philly if i'm not mistaken. i think the interior of paddy's is filmed somewhere else because the inside looks nothing like it does on the show. cold case, however, is filmed in LA and the exterior shots are of philly as well as some of the outdoor scenes.
