  • Happy 100th, Stanley!

  • Anaheim Kingsmen attempted this in 1969. I have a recording of them performing it at a spring standstill. For the summer show they cut all but the final push, starting at 2:37 of this track.

  • Definitive Drum Corps versions - 73 Argonne Rebels, 79 Guardsmen

  • Beverly Cardinals Drum & Bugle Corps of Beverly MA played this 72-74...awesome tune to march to

  • A few years ago a high school marching band did a fine version of this--I think the band was from Revere, Massachusetts

  • Yes, absolutely - talk about obsessed. I wore this album out!

  • I am so grateful for you posting this - I went through a time in my youth (high-school, I think?) that I was almost obsessed with this track on this record - you could look at the record and the first rack was almost gray from playing over and over. Loved the chimes, and the bass sax. Anyway, thanks for the trip down memory lane!

  • @scutmorgan52 Yay! Glad you liked it! This was one of my favorite cuts on the album. Memory lane -- no kidding!

  • @scutmorgan52 It was reissued on the creative world label
