i once saw a Special Amtrak Train on this route but it is abandoned correct me if im wrong it was pulled by 2 P-42's just like So Californias Apricot Special something like that
None of this is abandoned. Amtrak ONLY uses this route when the can not get into Penn Station via the Empire Line for some reason. Such a condition existed in late January 2008 after a barge struck Amtrak's DV bridge. Most Amtrak trains terminated/originated at Croton-Harmon that day - but 48/49, 63/64/69/70 did run via this route. However that was a one-day only thing until the bridge was reopened.
because if anything ever sucked that much in a confined space it would create a vacuum and suck the entire city in upon itself and the entire planet as we know it would implode. all because M-7A's suck.
exactly - that and the fact that M-7s suck. Yes, even more than the BBD R-142s. BTW: Anyone who didn't understand my initial response above should work on getting a better grasp of the English language.
Nice shot. I haven't been home in many years. Ah memories!!
Thanks
