@bigtitties1234 not true at all i had my 280 fps classic army shooting 200ft. if u can get that out of ur chineese m4 go ahead, but u might as well as buy a G&G for the price it will cost u to do so. fps doesnt mean crap. airseal and barrel and hop-up is what matters. if u ever shoot a tm u would know. And second of all type some real words would ya.

How far were you shooting the cans from because that was weak as hell, or it just may be that my gun is powerful

I was shooting from a few meters... But the cans were full of water. It's a 1 joule AEG.

I'm not sure how many joules but it can shoot about 375 fps, but mine can knock a full soda can off of the surface and pierce it in one to three hits (at the most), but it may be just because of distance

I would go with an ICS or G&G. They're pretty much the most reliable within that range.

Ok, I was thinking of getting an ICS M4A1 (2007 model) from Shorty USA, I have heard that ICS had a bad reputation but the 2007 model made up for it, tell me the stats pleas because christmas is coming up ; )

I can tell you that buying an ICS M4A1 is a great acquisition!!

Full metal body, Colt licenses, 1 Joule (298 fps), spring and gears more upgraded than marui versions, etc ... Ireally think that it's a really good AEG. I haven't any problems and I bought it in 2006.

Yea ICS is a good brand, especially if your just starting out. I bought the same gun when i first started airsoft, however now i've got a CA m15 A4 carbine with upgraded internals and a tightbore. But like you said ICS is great gun for starting out. Hell i've still got mine and it shoots just as good as when i bought it, i use it as a loaner and guys i let use it pwn with it.

ICS doesn't have a bad reputation, Shorty USA does. And actually ICS is known as one of the 'big 3' airsoft manufacturers (the others being TM and CA). sorry if I'm sounding snobbish and nerdy
