You say, "Cops light car on fire". NOPE! I was videotaping right beside the car at the corner of Bay and King. Just a few steps away.

A protester lit up that car. And that's based on the video I shot right next to that car plus video by two other YouTubers.

The entire time I was there all police handled themselves patiently and professionally.

Later, yes, things down downhill fast. And I agree with you. The Kettling was despicable! As was the "secret" G20 law.

@gozippy *I'm* the woman with the camera and this is exactly what happened at G20 June 26, 2010 early-mid afternoon. The police DID do a good job! There was NO response from the police at all when those cars were torched, let alone "beating".

This 3-part video was shot at Bay and King and the police were a model of restraint. And no one has to take my word for it. All they need do is watch the video!

Later on, yes, the fascism emerged. The abuse of authority. But NOT when I was there.

But just to be clear that doesn't mean I'm pro-police to a point of dismissing that some of them really did overstep their authority at G20. I saw some of those protesters and have to say, I think I'd have had to summon everything in me not to kick one or two Black Bloc asses just to "vent"....

Hi there. As I understand it there were police in those cruisers but once some in the crowd advanced to attack they abandoned the vehicles. I arrived there too late to document that so I don't know.

Do know that no officers were injured as a result of this torching. Or protesters/crowd.
