I grew up listening to thsi song. I had the 45 and kept it for almost two decades eve though it was old and scratchy. Great version of a great classic. David's vocals are stronger than Joe, but DefLep put their own guitar line in there and made it their own. A new favorite.

I agree with everything you said. I do love Def Leppard, particularly Joe Elliott. However, Bon Jovi is my favorite. There's no one, absolutely no one, that can sing a love song like Jon Bon Jovi! It just makes me want to melt!!! Def Leppard does have some slower tunes, but they are mainly as you said, "jump-up-and-down-and-dance catchy tunes". It's a close race with me as far as who my favorite is. However, Bon Jovi is #1 with me, and Def Leppard is #2. Just thought I'd say that.

Def Leppard is a fantastic band. I loved their sound in the 80's and although it's entirely different, I love their sound now as well. I definitely miss their sound with Steve Clark. The Hysteria and Pyromania days were Def Leppard's peak for sure, but I'm glad that their sound has matured the way that it has.
I love Sav's poster homage to Queen right in the beginning. And yes, Sav is yummy in leather! Just wish there were more shots of him in this vid. Which by the way rocks way harder than the lame David Essex one!

Davey boy's achieved longevity & was so 'on it' back in the day.

i am sorry hun but i have to disagree with you on that one jon bon jovi is 20 times hotter than joe just my opinion. def leppard are a great band and i love listening to them they have some amazing songs but i will always be a bon jovi fan. in saying that though there are very few bands left like def leppard or bon jovi from that era that are still around making great music and drawing in new fans and still fill major stadiums

YES!!! ANOTHER JON BON JOVI FAN!!!! I soo agree with you that JBJ is hotter (not to mention sexier) XD except Jovi had more power ballads and catchy lyrics but Def Leppard had catchy lyrics and tunes, and I'm not saying that Jovi didnt, they did but they weren't jump-up-and-down-and-dance catchy tunes Jovis' tunes were more I-wanna-learn-how-to-play-that-on-my-guitar....... that's just my opinion anywho :)

I agree with everything you said. I do love Def Leppard, particularly Joe Elliott. However, Bon Jovi is my favorite. There's no one, absolutely no one, that can sing a love song like Jon Bon Jovi! It just makes me want to melt!!! Def Leppard does have some slower tunes, but they are mainly as you said, "jump-up-and-down-and-dance catchy tunes". It's a close race with me as far as who my favorite is. However, Bon Jovi is #1 with me, and Def Leppard is #2. Just thought I'd say that.

I just have to say that I love Joe, but Jon is actually my number 1 favorite guy! I think he's perfect! It may not seem like it b/c of the way we carry on about Joe. It's true though! I just wanted to say that! And you're right about there being few bands like Bon Jovi or Def Leppard.

Def Leppard is a fantastic band. I loved their sound in the 80's and although it's entirely different, I love their sound now as well. I definitely miss their sound with Steve Clark. The Hysteria and Pyromania days were Def Leppard's peak for sure, but I'm glad that their sound has matured the way that it has.

I did receive all A's all through school, as well as in college in my English and Intensive writing classes. I also have published works. There's one more thing I want to make clear. I know perfectly well the difference between the word "you're", meaning you are, as opposed to the word "your", meaning to belong to you. It does have to do with my typing ability in that I have a difficult time typing and creating a body of text at the same time. I always try to go back and edit what I have typed b/c of this.I failed to do this in the particular case you are referring to, thus I made an error. Sue me!LOL
