@alnesh I'm not too big on britpop in the 90's. All the pop bands wanted to be Blur because of their success. and they all failed doing it. Blur were the best band of the 90's and they were the only good britpop. Blur even thought the britpop thing was a bit rubbish, they had more in common with the american grunge scene. Alot of punk influence.

@Capuano231 Well not necessarily, Blur started out as being like off the fringes of that whole early nineties 'Madchester' movement, realised it was past there time and changed to the British image, which was just a novelty that would wear off in a few years, its because of Graham and his influences from the Grunge, American Indie scene, that they changed there image to a more Punk/grunge look

Yes changing your style every album is called being original, it's pretty much impossible to be 100% original because genres take time to develop. Look at hip-hop, 30 years ago there were Grandmaster Flash and Run-DMC rappin about having fun and now there are rappers like P.O.S. with political and angry lyrics, nobody's going to just come out of nowhere and make a sound without havin some sort of inspiration
