Fore some Reason I didnt find this anime really emotional. It felt rather dark and empty and very very sad. But not an spontaneus emotional Sadnes, more a very deep depressing Sadnes. The sadest scenes were for me the ones above surface seeing the people slowing fade away in that "paradisic" world.
This was such an astonishing ending. It left me feeling incredibly empty and lonely. No anime has ever done that without leaving any cliche lines or emotionally exaggerated outbursts. It was like I was really watching myself die inside... I had to rewatch the last scenes, to actually get a deeper grasp of the emotions that were running through me, and then I started utterly crying. Though horribly depressing, I thought this was one of the most honest animes I've seen... Thank you for uploading..
@kapanihan And i am glad you enjoyed as much as i did its hard for ppl to both understand or even try to understand the series it was actually refreshing seeing someone actually commenting in almost all the series episodes.At the beginning i thought someone was spamming about Pino being cute in ergo proxy episodes then i realized it was texhnolyze i was like what??? XD
@0oooUooo0 Haha yeah. Modern youth are very impatient and spoiled with simplistic ideals etc etc and aren't given enough space to open their mind and think a bit. I have more respect towards this series than Ergo Proxy, though I did find that very nice as well (: And yes... eh Pino. A nice comic relief character. Haha. I'm glad you appreciated it as well :'D I almost thought I was going overboard. xD;;
Okay, I've watched this series until the end. I must say it left me with a feeling that I only know when I see a gloomy picture, or I drive at night with a car through a dark landscape. I think that was exactly the mood of this anime scored. Although it was ultimately just images, it is very disturbing.
@AshokaAnandaeSaha Does everything always have to have a reason?There is nothing conclusive about the ending the "humans" in the surface are "alive"(as much as i can stretch that).Most of the ones down the surface are dead i guess like 1-3% is still alive but does it matter anymore?And the main character might had just fainted... Its up to you to decide your ending.
