Let me explain what has happened...

Before the Iranian revolution women were allowed to vote, to wear what they wished and to do as the wished....Equality.

Then there was a uprising against the "Shah" because he was becoming to modern and un-Islamic hence a religious leader took over Iran...and now those people who at first supported being more religious are repealing...
