FYI ... I measure out at 22". That's right where a small stops and a medium begins. In most other helmets I am a size large but since Bell's sizing tells me that I'm right in between a S and a M, when I bought this helmet I purchased a size Medium. After my first ride at 65+ MPH, the helmet lifted at my forehead and was floating. I am going to return it for a size Small and see what happens.
Thanks for the review. I have the typical American oval-shaped head as well, and have had a tough time finding a helmet that is snug at the temples without creating a hotspot at the forehead. Do you still have the helmet? And has it broken in at all? Thanks again.
I never felt or experienced the lining/padding shifting in mine. It fits my head great. I don't have any tight or loose spots, however, it's much louder than my full face helmets. So much louder that I started wearing ear plugs when I ride.
I feel like it's a little taller on top than is being implied by "Low profile". It is very small compared to my full face helmets.
I can't help but search around for a yet smaller lid though.
Great review man, thanks for the time

@Vanrocco66 I did return the helmet and purchased a size Large. It solved the lifting issue but it did require some time to break in.

I had this helmet previously and ended up selling it for a Fulmer v2. The fulmer is all around much better helmet.

I also have this helmet in a medium. The fit and finish is perfect. About 1,500 miles in this helmet and there are no problems.

I have the same helmet. The foam is tight and does not shift. You may want to return it.
