u say i have to go to the mouse system preferences and change the mouse settings... when i open the system preferences and open the mouse settings, i can only change the double clicking speed and tracking speed. how do i then change the scrolling?
@TheWheeler95 same problem, everyone is acting like its so easy but it isnt. ive looked everywhere on system preferences to the magic mouse manual, im pretty apple savy but this has me stumped
@TheWheeler95 Make sure that your magic mouse is connected and on, then when you bring up the mouse control panel with it, all the proper settings will automatically come up. If not, click on the bottom right, where it says "set up bluetooth mouse" and make sure it's properly connected. Also make sure you're running a recent version of the Mac OS, such as 10.6.5+.
@iamafractal thanks, but my mouse preference doesn't have 'scrolling' as an option. although, it seems to have everything else. =_= i'll just head back to the Apple store to see if they can give me hand. thanks though!

@ZeroGal5 check out the mouse system preference pane... you can turn on and off things like scrolling, right clicking, etc.
