In the Sacrifice the story, as told by Charlie Higson on an interview, it will focus on Small Sam and The Kid - the fifth book will be about Maxie and Achillus and the final book of the series will be one final battle between the kids and the sicko's. Best Character - Shadowman- he is so weird that he is awesome

@Slayerrox100 It's weird, but he has tried to go back in time, so its like the reader knows what happens, but the characters dont. Like the grownup in the enemy, the st george man, we know at the end he is planning, but the nxt book shows no one knows if u get wht i mean

ChezhireOrca Films is making a movie based on The Enemy :) It's not word for word but it's basically the same thing, names are different but the character personalitys and story line is pretty much the same. It's not known when it will be done, but they have make-up artist, video editor, director, camera man, actors, weapons, everything is ready. They'll put it on YouTube too :D Should be up by 2012 december or sometime in 2013 It's not going to be professional but it's not crappy

@TheLinkgamer Trully if anyone was in this they would end up dead. The main characters in The Dead are all suffering from sleep deficit so by the 3rd day that they didn't have a well needed rest they would have died. Or suffered from narcoleptic symptoms which would have knocked them out cold while in the middle of a fight.

personally I think fans of Charlie Higson's "The Enemy" series would also like Alexander Gordon Smith's "Furnace" series. Gripping, deadly, and full of twists and turns, this blood-streaked nightmare is guaranteed to claw you in from start to finish :) I read all three books in 24 hours, I stayed up all night. I was literally hooked. Plus, there is a new instalment in the five-part series coming out in 2011. (yeah, i made that up to try and promote it cos its so awesome. READ THEM OR DIE)

The third installment of the series "Wrath Of The Living" the ending was leaked on hack forum ( no idea how or why ) but all that happens is Ed gets sick but still maintains most of his mental capabilities and has an epic but somewhat short lived battle with Greg in which Ed is the victor and kills himself by throwing himself in the Thames. Else were Brooke is pregnant and there is new hope for mankind.

Its amazingly written, but i hate Higsons constant patronisation towards younger readers. Every chapter has to bring up a charecter whining about how theres no more TV or mobile phones or adults.Its always 'OMG arran, we dont haz any adults no moar, they used to wipe our asses because we're too stupid to do it ourselves'. I dont know his view on children, but it sounds like he really hates us and considers us ungrateful and incompetant.
