i built a bicore walker very similar to this one, and i have a completely different leg placement. It actually seems to be faster than yours, but the downside is that im using bare coat hanger wire for the legs, and they scratch anything the bot walks across. I actually like your design more, it is more fulfilling to the "aesthetics" aspect of BEAM technology.

it only works with this exact leg placement. A fraction of an inch in any direction and it dose not walk.
