this movie is a way better than the prestige. But i think the movie is still imperfect. story line is gud but if magician part was clarified as how he does magic stuff then the movie cud have been perfect in my opinion.

two things:

1- what does prestige means?

2- this movie has the same title as the other movie that's a cartoon of a man trying to make a living of being a magician but brings a friend from Scotland or Ireland, but rock and other stuff muses ppl instead of magic. the cartoon is a bit sad at the end (not sad like a bad film I mean sad like u wana cry your eyes at the end). ppl should come up with a title that hasn't been taken -_-

The Prestige. You have to be kidding. There was absolutely no one to like in The Prestige. They were all out for themselves, selfish, greedy. The Illusionist is without doubt a far superior movie. Edwarton Norton, Paul Giamatti and Jessica Biel were all brilliant.

@32anna2538 Superior? Yeah right. The plot was lame and predictable. Boy gets girl, boy loses girl, end of story. It's not original, at least in The Prestige the characters were way more complex, they were realistic. The Prestige is a movie that makes ppl stop and actually THINK about what they are watching, it makes ppl second guess everything they saw. Newsflash, everybody is selfish, greedy and all about themselves. The Prestige is brilliant.

This is a beautiful movie. Paul Giamatti is brilliant as is Edward Norton and Jessica Biel is wonderfully beautiful as always. Additionally the settings are remarkably lovely too. This is so going to be a part of my DVD collection!
