@BrownEyedMomifyed My husband told me he got it on Amazon and I used it for about the first 4 months. After that the glider with the boppy pillow was just fine.
My due date was yesterday, and I'm just waiting now. Quick question, how much weight did you lose thus far from the pregnancy. Does breastfeeding really shed the lbs. as fast as they say? You don't look like you gained much at all, but this is my second baby and I've gained 50 lbs. Let me know and congrats!
Thank you, I am happy. Being a new mom is definitely full of challenges and there have been some tears, but so much laughter too. I smile all day, just amazed at my little miracle.
Zaden is so cute! Where did you buy the bed chair thingy for nursing, the support chair you have in your video. Night-time feeds are so uncomfortable for me, this thing looks amazing!
I think my husband bought it from Hammacher Schlemmer or maybe Brookstone. It was a christmas present so I'm not absolutely sure. It's a wonderful way to nurse even though my husband is starting to get jealous cause we can't cuddle at night because it takes up a good portion of the bed and I just sleep between the arms of the backrest so he can't get to me. Poor guy. :)
I had to have my gallbladder out when my baby was 3 weeks old. After that I had her in the bed with me. I nursed her in the night on my side. I could get the rest I needed and it was great.
I hope this gets better for you. This is an amazing time, take a lot of video, and pictures. this time goes by so fast.
Yes, the nursing has gotten 100% better, thank you. I can now nurse him side-lying although I usually still sit up at night because he seems to nurse better and then sleeps a lot longer.
my lil Tyler pretty much has to be swaddled in order for him to be put down when he sleeps. Otherwise he just wakes up within minutes of us putting him down. I also use a swaddling blanket called the sleep sack by Halo. And thank God it was a free gift from the hospital where I delivered.
good to hear from you! I haven't even done my labor and delivery video yet. Correction, I have, just haven't uploaded it. Leah needs to be swaddled well to sleep also. As soon as she gets her arms out, she immediately starts waving them around and wakes herself up. It's just hard that we don't swaddle her tightly b/c we don't have AC in our apartment, and I'm afraid of her getting overheated.
I love the name zaden alexnder... I have a son named zaden bruce. He's 4 months old and he has a head full of hair jus like your zaden. ;)

Have you tried side lying to nurse? Gives you the most rest (you can sleep/rest while nursing!).
You look great! Sounds like everything is going really well.
I always gift the miracle blanket!

Yes, the side-lying is working much better for me now. It was too painful before but my body has adjusted and now we can do it no problem.
