@impossiblefeel lol kidding aside, it's a historical fact that medieval church believed that public bathing creates enviornment for immorality and disease. they also thought water carried disease, not knowing that drinking contaminated water is the problem, not washing with it. prior to around 18th and 19th century, much of europe was pretty uncultured and dirty place for thousands of years when compared to the middle east or e. asia.
